The story about the Screbus is Joel P. Blum’s first children’s book.
Very few people have ever heard about a Screbus or even seen one. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
In Search of the Elusive Screbus is about two sisters and their wonderful summer at a magical lake where children gather for summer adventures.
When we are young, our minds are open and welcome the enchantment and magic of something we’re not sure exists, but can believe in. The Screbus is just such a thing.
Joel P. Blum was born and raised in Gary, Indiana. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from University of Cincinnati and was an architect and partner at the firm of InterDesign in Indianapolis. He recently retired and enjoys time with family, live theatre at Indiana Repertory Theater, fishing, golf and gardening.
