Don’t miss your opportunity to meet local author, Cynthia Port! She will be signing and selling her books at the 67th Annual Christmas Gift & Hobby Show, on Saturday, November 12th, from 3:30 P.M. – 9:00 P.M., at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, West Pavilion, booth #303.
Cynthia was born and raised right here in Indiana, and after living in Maryland and Minnesota for a few years, Indiana convinced her to come back. She now lives here with her husband, two daughters, and a head full of stories.
Her first book, Kibble Talk, won the Readers’ Favorite Gold Award and has close to 150 reviews on Amazon with a 4.8 average. Dog Goner has been equally well received.
Children and adults love the series equally, especially if they have a soft spot in their hearts for dogs–and who doesn’t? With its humor, relatable characters and gentle messaging, the Kibble Talk series is a popular choice for teachers.
Cynthia feels strongly about supporting teachers. She visits schools across Indianapolis to talk about her books and, through her free books to teachers program, visits schools all across America via Skype.
In addition to writing novels and raising her kids, she is a scientific writer, school volunteer, crafter, cook and all around way too busy person.
