Author Cy Wyss Offers Up Mystery, Thrills and Suspense

Cy will be signing and selling her books at the 66th Annual Christmas Gift & Hobby Show, at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, West Pavilion, on Sunday, November 15th, from 10:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M., in the Local Authors’ Booth #303.

Cy Wyss lives and writes in the Indianapolis area. After earning a PhD in Computer Science in 2002 and teaching and researching for seven years, she returned to the childhood dream of becoming an author. As Cy says, “I better do it now because I won’t get a third life.”

Behind her, Cy has a ton of academic experience and has written about twenty extremely boring papers on query languages and such, for example for the Association of Computing Machinery’s Transactions on Databases. (That’s a mouthful.)

Now, she writes in the mystery/thriller/suspense genres and sometimes science fiction. She is the author of the thriller Dimorphic, the cozy mystery Eyeshine, and a collection of short stories about a San Francisco Police Detective, Lukas Richter.

Online, she does the Writer Cy cartoon series about the (mis)adventures of researching, writing, and self-publishing in today’s shifting climate. She also reviews Indie and self-published books. You can find her at
